When it comes to searching out and finding the top web hosting companies, it can and will get very confusing for almost everyone. After all, there are a large number of web hosting companies out there, and many offer great service with everything you would want and need, but which one also offers the best prices? Normally when we are new to building websites, we dont even know exactly what we will need up front. Most newcomers to this arena are on a budget, so they want to pay the cheapest prices possible, while not giving up anything that is not necessary, even if they dont know exactly what that might be at this point. The service and the entire experience has been good, with one exception: Its not really free! You see, the cost of the domain name is $25.00 per year, which is about three times more than I can get most of my domain names for today, but I didnt realize that at the time. In addition, I have to pay extra for more email addresses and SQL capabilities, along with many other things you will or might need as your web site grows. By the time you add all of these things on, Im paying much more than I should for my free web hosting. Dont fall for all of the hype, and you also dont have to pay for all of the fancy advertising that many of the well known hosting companies use, as you will indeed pay for their name, as that name brand building does not come cheaply. It comes about due to high cost advertising.
Before saying anything else, make sure you dont take the recommendations on any of the websites that offer or call themselves top 10 web hosts, or web host reviews. You see, those guys are all affiliate marketers, and they get paid for recommending you to these web hosting companies, so they are not always giving you the best advice. They are often pointing you to the company that pays them the most money for sending you to them. Regardless of what company you finally decide upon as as your favorite hosting choice, be sure to then do some research on that particular name and see what you come up with before making a final decision. Bottom line though is don’t visit the top recommended, top 10 or top reviews for any type of advice, because its likely to be very bad and costly advice. I also suggest that you purchase your domain name and hosting services separately. While I don’t recommend them for top hosting awards, you can get a great deal on a domain name and save 10% on orders at Go Daddy! Go Daddy is a great place to buy your domain names at a reasonable cost: Usually around $10.00 per domain name per year, but if you use our link you can pick up a discount and save a couple of dollars on the initial purchase price.

However, dont take my word for it, do your homework on these two and if you agree, go with Go Daddy for your domain names and Just Host for your hosting needs and you will be in good shape!
